Everything was superlative. We came from Europe and stayed for a week at this cabin. We were impressed by how welcoming it is. The owners have created a place full of warmth, very spacious and very bright. The cabin has an open space kitchen with a big island equipped to the smallest detail, with a dining area overlooking the lake and also in this space there is a very tastefully designed living room. 

The bedrooms each have their own bathrooms and besides the fact that the beds have very restful mattresses, they are also very clean. The cabin is surrounded by lots of greenery, opening to the lake, peace and many small wild animals such as squirrels and rabbits. I recommend visiting the area where the cabin is located. In the small town of Picton, you can enjoy a breakfast full of the area's charm and the hospitality of the host at The Taking Donkey, and if you want local products, I recommend tasting and purchasing quality local wines at Amanda's Winery, beer at Prince Eddy's Brewing Co. and local whiskey at Kinsip House of Fine Spirits.

What an incredible weekend getaway! This lakehouse was exactly what me and the boys needed—a classic guys' trip away from the city and a chance to hit the reset button. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to leave the daily responsibilities behind and just enjoy the weekend. The highlights were simple: sitting around the fireplace with a few cold beers, sharing old highschool memories, laughing at the same jokes for the hundredth time, and generally acting like we were twenty years younger. 

Early mornings were spent fishing off the dock. Whether we were casting lines, grilling food, or just relaxing by the lake, the place had everything we needed for the perfect boys' weekend. The property was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and made it easy to unplug and enjoy the company of good friends. If you're looking for the perfect spot for a fishing trip, a guys' getaway, or just a weekend to recharge with your buddies, this place delivers. We left refreshed, recharged, and already talking about booking our next trip.

Long summer evenings are spent beneath string lights by the pergola, with bonfires crackling and conversations stretching into the night. Outside, the many areas for relaxing offer moments of quiet escape from the festivities. The gentle honking of geese overhead and the sight of them gliding across the water add a charming, natural rhythm to the setting. 

Down by the shore, a private dock extends into the calm lake, an ideal gathering spot during the day and a magical retreat at night. Guests can sit with their feet brushing the water, sip drinks at sunset, or watch the reflections shimmer as stars begin to appear. Whether it’s a lively celebration or a tranquil moment alone, every corner of the property offers something special. This isn’t just an estate - it’s a place where elegance, nature, and connection come together. What a beautiful modern home and location. Private, clean , comfortable and has everything you need and more. Well appointed kitchen, modern finishings, comfortable beds amd bedding. Right on the water, with lots of private outdoor space. Perfectly comfortable for families or large groups. We can't say enough about Andreea's friendly communication and recommendations. We are already looking at dates to return to this private Luxury rental close to all the Wineries, Picton and waterfront.

The home is beautiful in a gorgeous serene setting. It was close to the areas we are interested in. Lots of private areas within the home and property. Perfect!
