One more way to experience the lake.

There is something wonderfully peaceful about seeing Cressy Cove from the water.

The shoreline looks a little different. The Lakehouse seems to settle even more comfortably into the landscape. The sounds become softer, the pace becomes slower, and before long, you find yourself drifting along with little more than the gentle rhythm of the paddle.

Whether you're heading out for an early morning paddle as the lake begins to wake, enjoying a sunny afternoon on the water, or simply taking a quiet moment to explore the sheltered cove, it's one of our favourite ways to experience Lilac Lakehouse.

To help you make the most of your stay, we've provided four paddle boards for guests to enjoy.

You'll find them waiting near the waterfront, with lifejackets stored in the nearby deck box. Simply help yourself whenever the weather and water conditions are suitable, then set off to discover the calm beauty of the cove at your own pace.

When you've finished, we kindly ask that you return the paddle boards and lifejackets to the same place you found them. Taking a moment to put everything away helps keep the equipment in great condition and ensures it's ready for the next family to enjoy.

Some of the best memories at the Lakehouse aren't made on an itinerary.

They're made while gliding across calm water, watching the shoreline drift by, and realizing that, for a little while at least, there's nowhere else you'd rather be.

• Four paddle boards are available for guest use.

• Lifejackets are stored in the deck box beside the paddle boards.

• Please use the equipment only when weather and water conditions are safe.

• When you're finished, kindly return both the paddle boards and lifejackets to where you found them so they're ready for the next guests.
