After a day spent exploring Prince Edward County, wandering the beaches, or visiting local wineries, the living room often becomes the place where the day quietly comes to a close.

At Lilac Lakehouse, the fireplace was designed to create that feeling in every season.

Set within the custom-built media centre and surrounded by natural river rock, our electric fireplace offers all the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional fire without the smoke, wood, or cleanup.

Whether you're enjoying a family movie night, reading beside the windows as the rain falls outside, or simply sharing another glass of local wine, it has a wonderful way of making the room feel even more inviting.

Using it couldn't be simpler.

The fireplace is fully remote controlled, allowing you to turn it on, adjust the flame, or switch it off from the comfort of the sofa. Some evenings call for a lively fire that becomes part of the room.

Others simply need a soft flicker in the background while conversations linger long after dinner has ended.

One of our favourite moments is watching the flames dance while the last light disappears over Cressy Cove. The room becomes a little quieter. The chairs become a little more comfortable. And somehow, no one seems to be in a hurry to call it a night.

Like so much of the Lakehouse, the fireplace isn't there to steal the attention.

It's simply there to make the moments you're already sharing feel just a little warmer.
