Some of the most useful spaces in a home are rarely the ones that receive the most attention.

They're simply there when you need them, quietly making everyday moments a little easier. Whether you're freshening up clothes after a longer stay, washing beach towels after an afternoon by the water, or simply tidying up before heading home, the laundry room is ready whenever you are.

Located just beyond the Chef's Kitchen, the adjoining mudroom serves as the Lakehouse's laundry area. Here you'll find a stacked washer and dryer, a large utility sink, and laundry supplies thoughtfully provided for your convenience.

To help protect the Lakehouse's septic system, we kindly ask that you use only the laundry detergent and products provided during your stay.

They're carefully selected to be septic-safe while still giving your clothes and linens a thorough clean.

If you happen to run low, you're welcome to purchase additional detergent during your stay. We simply ask that you avoid using bleach or other products that aren't designed for septic systems, helping us keep everything running smoothly for future guests as well.

Like so many thoughtful details throughout Lilac Lakehouse, it's one less thing to think about—leaving you with more time to enjoy your family getaway, another sunset over Cressy Cove, or one last adventure through Prince Edward County.

• The laundry room is located in the mudroom, just off the Chef's Kitchen.
